Shared Services – Making it Happen: Innovative service agreements facilitating collaboration between public bodies across jurisdictional boundaries
The fourth Shared Services Learning Network event took place on Wednesday 14th January 2015 in the Boardroom of the Utility Regulator , Queens House, Belfast.
The workshop was addressed by Andrew McClelland, ICLRD Research Associate, who discussed the range of cooperation instruments available in Europe to facilitate cross-border cooperation, including in shared services. Barry Lowry, Director of IS Shared Services and Strategy, NICS Head of ICT Profession, also drew upon his extensive experience of implementing shared services within the Northern Ireland Civil Service, particularly in relation to information technology.
