Summary: This report recognises that environmental assets do not adhere to man-made boundaries and considers the challenges and opportunities in integrating environmental management and development strategies at national, regional and local-policy level. Building on two international case studies, the report puts forward a number of strategic options for the effective implementation of river basin plans in Ireland on a cross-border basis. Read more
