Summary: This report responds to the need for a joined-up approach to evidence-based planning given the emergence of multiple spatial planning initiatives within the Irish cross-border region. It focuses on the application of data for the purpose of informing policy decisions, in particular with respect to the policy objectives and strategic ambitions of the National Spatial Strategy and the Regional Development Strategy. It draws on international experience at the European level and elsewhere in the UK. Read more.
