The International Centre for Local and Regional Development (ICLRD), as a prescribed body under Article 64 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended), is invited by the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government, Mr. Eoghan Murphy T.D., to nominate up to THREE candidates for consideration for appointment as an ordinary member of An Bord Pleanála.
Having regard to this invitation, the ICLRD invites suitably qualified colleagues from across our network who wish to be considered for selection by the ICLRD to submit the following documents:
1. A short curriculum vitae
2. An outline of why you believe you would be a suitable appointment.
Before applying, please review the detailed job description provided by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. In addition, for this call, the Department has identified the need to compliment the existing skills and expertise of the current Board in the areas of architecture and engineering.
Board members carry out their duties on a full-time basis for a period of up to five years; and are based full-time in the Board’s office in Dublin.
In light of the timescale advised by the Minister, the ICLRD is advising that applications should be submitted to the ICLRD no later than 5p.m. on Friday, 6th October 2017. This is to facilitate the ICLRD giving due consideration to applications received in advance of submitting its nominations to the Minister.
