| Brian Donnellan is Vice-President of Engagement and Innovation in Maynooth University. He also acts as Professor of Management Information Systems in the Business School and Academic Director of the Innovation Value Institute (IVI) in Maynooth University. He is Co-Principal Investigator in the Irish Software Research Centre (Lero), where he is leading research projects on Smart Cities and Internet-Of-Things. Having facilitated the formation of the All Ireland Smart Cities Forum, Brian is now its’ Chair. Prior to becoming an academic, he spent 20 years working in the ICT industry where he was responsible for the provision of Engineering Information Systems to support New Product Development. Brian is an expert evaluator and reviewer for the Commission of the European Union and has been guest and associate editor of several leading academic journals. |
